Looking back through the year during Christmas holiday
pondering the journey I've traveled each day
mountain top peaks of joy and blessing
valleys of pain, need, and testing
cherishing moments with family and friends
living by faith around every bend
through it all I continue to live and learn
the divine truth I still discern
though we travel through valleys in this life that we lead
never fear, God is near, and will meet every need
